STEP 1 : On nights of service, residents will place the VWV trash receptacles outside the door prior to scheduled service times following these certain guidelines:

  • All bags need to be tied and placed inside the trash receptacle with the lid closed
  • No loose trash
  • No broken glass or sharp objects
  • No bags over 25 pounds
  • Double bag all pet waste
  • All cardboard boxes need to be broken down
  • No oversized items (appliances, furniture, large boxes)

STEP 2 : Vandelay Doorstep Collection

  • Collection can start promptly at scheduled time of service during the designated nights of service
  • Waste Valet will collect all trash/recycle bags that are staged properly according to the guidelines
  • Collection will be complete prior to 12am
  • Valet will transport trash/recycle to the appropriate areas on the serviced property

STEP 3 : Return the receptacle inside the next morning

  • Residents will bring VWV trash container back inside the unit by 9am the next morning to prepare for the next night of service needed.
  • Containers left out during the day may result in interruption of their service.
